As in your previous postings, to me the term "critical thinking" is about education and learning, and is quite a complex topic. Today we try to emphasize the teaching of critical thinking skills. Such skills include the ability to think to solve everyday problems, creativity, brainstorming, memory skills, innovation, etc.

One of the symbols for me of critical thinking is Rodin's famous sculpture, The Thinker.

Critical thinking means going beyond just answering a question or expressing a thought. You have knowledge from which to draw, comprehension (understanding), analysis, application (using the information), synthesis (creating or utilizing), and evaluation (checking or testing you knowledge).

To think clearly, honestly (No matter how difficult this may be) not allow oneself to be influenced by wishes, hopes, selfish goals and practically detach one's thinking from the source Person who thinks). It is not an easy task but, if achieved can lead to better answers/solutions to any problem one may have.
