His fiance is legal guardian of child and she agrees to change of name. Will the father have any say in this decision?

it depends on the age of the child and if the father has give up his rights to the child or if the father hasn't been on the seen for a wile.
if the child is of an age to make his/her own mind up a judge could allow the child to change there name. or find out if the mother can get it done by deed poll

If the lady truly loves the man they should sit down and weigh the consiquences so that they have an agreement favourable to both of them.Love is strong if it is real.

If the father relinquished his rights to the child then he has no say.
My sister-in-law wanted her girls to have my brother's last name, but her ex would not relinquish his "rights" although he NEVER sees the girls or pays support.
