u just gotta get out there and do it. its not gonna be easy, and your probably going to fall a coulpe times but this is how i learned..... When i first started skating i would go outside and just kinda walk on them almost like if they were shoes, i did this until i felt i had my balance and felt comfortable gliding my feet instead of walking on them. take it slow at first u gotta trust your feet and the worst thing u can do is be afraid becuase it gets you nervous and then messes up your concentration causing u to feel unbalanced

You talking skateboarding?
Just ride a lot first. The more you do it, the more comfortable you'll get on a skateboard. Even the naturals began not knowing anything. You've got to be able to carve, kick turn, and cruise around like a champ-- then tricks and $h!t will just come naturally, with practice.
The best thing to do is go out and do it. Don't even sweat tricks yet, though. Don't just go out and try rails and $h!t-- that's how kids get broke. Basics first, then tricks for days.
There are even Transworld and 411 instructional videos if you want to go that route. No shame in it.

get low, bend your knees and practice, practice, practice. If you practice falling down, it's not that hard.
