They should have the right to marry who they want and raise a family like any other person. We know that the union between a man and woman doesn't always work/last -- documented by the number of divorces in the U.S. So it's time to live and let live. They needs rights to insurance and the ability to provide for or adopt children that no one else wants to adopt.

I don't think you can separate this question from the Bible. Not to be a religious fanatic but marriage is a bond between to people that was created by a specific religion. And if your not going to attempt to live in concordance with that religion then you should not be able to disrespect any of that religions ceremonies. I do believe that they should have all the rights to will their partners their estate and to have their partners be recognized legally as their spouse. Just without marriage as the way.

I think it would possibly throw a crazy spin on many things...including retirement plans, adoption, insurance, etc.

I think that two ppl of the same sex defy the very definition of the word marriage. Perhaps, a new term is needed.

I hesitate to make powerful assertions about things I do not understand, though. We are all Gods children.

And, I think we all deserve peace and happiness.

i guess marriage is a sacred institution and meant for man and woman and it like seems to lessen that and also because they cant procreate they must either adopt or surrogate babies and some feel this is bad cause one its better to have a male and female figure to raise kids and two they feel it may corrupt childs morals
