if you can afford to think about the options i would buck-up and buy a good gaming PC. you can play all x-box titles on a pc and have a great tool as well.

Ok, I have Xbox 360 here and PC so I can tell which one is better.

Xbox 360 is really not for games only, you can make friends via Xbox Live which is the really a fun part. Sometimes you can even hear some kids fighting ( headset ) with each other because they lose or they get mad with the other guy. Xbox 360 is also a multimedia console, you can play DVD videos or musics and in the future HD-DVDs. Right now, only a few games on Xbox 360 that we can call "next-gen". Other games are crapped.

There's really no reason to get both of the consoles. XBOX 360 and PS3 are the same. Only the games differ. I cannot suggest PS3 yet because PS3 isn't out yet. But as far as I know PS3's price is hell. Sony charged you alot for the Blu-Disc for nothing.
And BTW, When PS3 comes out on the market, XBOX 360 will have plenty of games while the PS3 is only starting their race.

If you really want a PC and want to play it like Xbox 360 you need to spend about $4000 to get the full potential. My PC costs around $3500 so you really need to invest alot.

purchase an Xbox360. I in undemanding words choose I had executed it quicker. imagine of a 360 as an excellent computer in simple terms committed to gaming so if it really is your significant precedence bypass with the Xbox. Plus in case you've already got a laptop to easily bypass on-line and surf or play old video games they you may have both worlds. Xbox stay is thoroughly truly worth it too. I own GTA IV and COD MW2 and performance in no way regretted the funding. Plus you are able to play MP3s, downloaded videos, DVDs, CDs, and larger on the 360 so its an leisure center. i'd say bypass Xbox professional or Elite if that is low-cost as your going to settle on that hardcontinual outfitted in for downloading content cloth and saving video games. both way it comes all the way down to this, in case you pick to purchase a computer which will run the titles you said properly (and properly is the most the following) it will fee about one and a 1/2 to 2 times the fee of a unmarried Xbox360 Elite clean. BTW with Xbox stay you should use Netflix and facebook too once you've them or pick to contained in the destiny.

Okay here's the deal - buying a console system is a great idea if all you want to do is play games - you don't have to worry about drivers, reading the side of the box for minimum requirements, all that stuff. Then again, if you are like me and can swap an old video card for a new one, then get a pc that you can customize to meet your specific needs.

If you are looking for innovation, Nintendo Wii is actually your best choice. If you are graphics hungry, it might be best to wait for the PS3. If you are looking for the largest variety and volume of games, go for a PC for now. There are hundreds of other things you can do with a PC as well! I am enjoying my new Apple computer however, so that is something to consider as well. Good luck!

New PC because

PCs have better graphics (good ones anyway)

They have the same games (pretty much)

PCs can store more data and have a much bigger variety of games.
