here in the uk they cannot have bank accounts beacuse it is against the religion to gain intrest! yet the town i live in, the girl who won a beauty contest was wearing a bikini, they are not allowed to bare flesh!!! Miss UK is muslim also , is there gonna be a different swimsuit cataglory for her also? give me an answer and a true one what do you think????? as im well pissed off with their religion right now

some of these answers are like total unacceptable to me, christian women Do eat pork and whatever we like , i should know i am Catholic and as for priests abusing kids and nuns , it goes on in EVERY religion

Really, really Jews and Christians ARE not allowed pork, women must wear head cover and women according to the two holy books are very much under graded in contrast with women in Islam.

Christianity is over for centuries. It has been going through many many changes most notable change was allowing divorce and allowing priests to middle and abuse children and nuns. This has happened many times over at the heart of the Vatican when they discovered many pregnant nuns and 100's of abused kids in the hands of the priests of whom only 45 were arrested.

The devout Jewish woman would buy a wig and wear it rather than just simply covering her hair..!
There are, of course, the few good ones here and there.

The young Muslim woman who won Miss Universe has won for her beauty not for her bikini. Muslims do not agree in degrading women in any way or form.Muslim men also have to dress modestly equally to women.

Before you speak out against people you do not know, read a few simple comparative articles in religions and you will be very very surprised.

Once more, do not just repeat what the media says without thinking.

I know plenty of people who were bombed by Brits and Americans and jews in Iraq. Palestin, Lebanon and Egypt.

Bush killing thousands and thousands of muslims in Iraq for religious believes or whatever did not make Muslims think that Christianity is a religion of violence because yes, real Muslims are much more open-minded than what you think and know that not one religion calls for violence. Not becasue Bush is Christian then Christianity calls for violence!!!

You believe that you are open-minded, but dear you are giving an entire opposite impression. Don't judge a religion according to what people do, go back to the source coz pple tend to do what THEY think is right without giving any regards to what their religion said. Besides, have you ever read a holy book that is pro blood shed and violence?

Also, being open-minded does not mean going naked and degrading your image to pple. If you find it ok that your mom or wife (or even yourself) to walk around revealing their flesh to men on the street who would just look at them as sex toys and not humans with brains and feelings, then no wonder why you hate Islam that asks Muslim women to cover up their precious bodies and by this force any male to show more respect to what they truely are. Do you think that the chances for a veiled girl to get raped is the same as one who's not?

Dear, it has been officially disclosed that those behind 9/11 turned to be Americans, and even if they were Muslims, then for your infomration, merciful Islam says that a killer is not considered a muslim and would be really punished by God.

There's much more to say about this religion. And who ever said that Islam is a fraud religion like others, then I would advise him/her to read books written by Arab Muslims about the miracles of the Quran. You will be surprised.

I think its not interpreted properly, the governing bodies do not seem recognise the violence and unwarranted hatred directed at western governments and their innocent people, thats why I feel it is the major threat to the free world right now. Moderate Islam is fine but the moderates seem unable and in some cases unwilling to control the extremists.

i think that like all religions, they are ok for weak people who need them, or snobs who think they are holier than thou by paying lip service, but they should never interfere in your life, or be allowed to exist in the real world outside of the temple/church/mosque etc. That is why there is so many "nonpracticing" whatevers.
