'Flower of Scotland' is such a dirge, and so is 'Highland Castle'. And no-one knows the words to 'Scotland the Brave'.

skynnn, could you be more offensive? I pay tax along with everyone else in the UK - the public services I receive in return are not charity handouts.

thale - we have one, but not an official one (nor does the UK as a whole - 'God Save The Queen' has never been given official status)

In my opinion " flower of scotland " I have heard this song
sung more than any other song.

but I;m sure if scotland ran a opinion pole.

I like Highland Cathedral. But it's not really an anthem kind of song and really need a coir to sing it, not something that can be belted out at football matches.

How about 500miles by the proclaimers. Everybody loves that song, and English people would be so jelous.

Why not God save the queen, I mean you are still British subjects after all dependent on their Charity for your country to survive.
