I wouldn't hold her responsible for what happened with you ex bf. Give her the benefit of the doubt unless she gives you reason to not trust her. I mean I wouldn't be telling everything and anything but as far as you can tell she went through the same thing and you guys could probably develop a really great friendship because of it. Your ex is the asshole and you shouldn't blame her for what happened. Like I said, unless she gives you a reason to be upset or mad at her... be friends!

Just KNOW that you are gorgeous. Your best beauty is what you naturally feel and look like. Don't try and be something you are not and copy others. Be true to yourself - casual and natural - it's the beach! Keep it simple - lip-gloss. And have fun - nothing sexier than carefree confidence and having fun, even if your hair gets messed up and you lip-gloss smudged. Just no mascara smudges - tacky.

You shouldn't have to worry about what you look like.
He's YOUR boyfriend!
This could actually be a test to see if he's really worth it.
Go as yourself, and whatever you feel comfortable in.
If he starts to stray away from you and towards them, then he's not worth your time.

wear a better bikini and do your hair really cute and really spend a lot of time with your bf at the beach like holding hand and hugging and stuff and make those other girls totally jealous :)

go casual, like you don't have to care about what you look like because your beauty needs no help. Then, nobody can upstage you and your just going to the beach.

Go and buy a totally gorgeous bikini to wear in front of them to make them jealous. Also to make sure they are jealous of you, make sure to flirt like crazy with him.

If you have the body for it, wear the smallest swimsuit legally allowed in your community, and walk around very sexy - and keep tugging at your swimsuit bottoms.
If you do not have the body for it, then you shouldn't do this.
