Because it's not meant to be. I am glad some of the guys from my past walked out. I am glad some of my prayers are unanswered because I found somebody who's better for me.
Better to be friendly with an ex. Better to forgive so hatred doesn't develop.
So glad time healed my heart and I'm with somebody good now.

Because they have figured out you are a sucker...and know that you hold out the hope that if you are nice they will come back to you.
The next one who walks out on you and tries this just say "If I ever see you again it going to be pop pop pop and make the sigh of a gun with your hand"
I guarantee they will steer clear of you for the rest of your life.
