To become a civil servant in India, you have to pass an examination. You don't say whether or not you already have a college degree, but if you don't, why not check into some correspondence courses through Delhi University? Those allow you to work on your education on your own schedule, so you can care for your child and get the education you need to improve your economic situation.
If you do have a college degree, the following link offers information about Indian Civil Services.
Good Luck!

Becoming an I. A. S. officer is not an easy job but not an impossible one too. First of all stop thinking yourself as helpless. If money is the only criteria for becoming an I A S officer then i would suggest you to earn money by your skill or talent- this would make things easier for you.your child is also your husband's child - make him realize this and don't presume answers on his part . You need to talk to him.

As a wife and mother, you are financially responsible to your children and husband first. Perhaps, later on, you can pursue more self-oriented goals. Right now is the time to put your family's security and financial wellbeing first as the provider and caretaker in the family. If you had only wanted to focus on a career at the expense of everything else, then you shouldn't have gotten married and had children.

From what I could find, an IAS officer is a government job in India. I don't know exactly what you mean, or if IAS is something else, but if you are having emotional problems, you might have trouble passing a job interview or a psychological profile.

i dont think it is easy but u probably need to put in more effort on your studies than on money.it is not that expensive to sit in an IAS examination but it does require hard work/luck to get thru.
i also know that u might have to bribe someone but if u r good enough there are lot of people who get in on merit. as for ur husband i am not sure why he is not helpinfg u but u can seek the support of ur other family members. i feel sorry for ur son but dont understand that ur problem there is emotional or monetary. beleive in urself and things will get better

this is not a right platform to get answers for your turmoil. be bold. don't depend on unknown cyber Friends and contacts. try to progress bit by bit. first go for a small job to get economic independence. then focus on larger goals. day dreaming about IAS ie top class indian administrative service job will land you in to the hands of gullible persons who say you can relieve on their shoulders but kick you away after using you for fulfilling their carnal desires. this is a rude and ruthless india. you need to be very elert. take care.

Sorrry, I don't know what an IAS officer is, but surely you don't need money to be a government officer. They pay you, not the other way around!
