Probably not. The site you visited probably just customized it for it's own use. My son plays in one of those online global game sites, and I can't use any software with his game running, I have to close his browser down.
It should straighten out after a reboot, but probably will if you just shut down your browser.
(There is also a chance that coincidentally, your mouse picked up a piece of lint)

It probably isn't.
Follow the mouse cord down to the monitor and make sure it is secure.

if after you closed the browser and scaned you comp. nothing suspect appered that it's probably no virus...
