Try Nippon Ant Powder, put a bit on a coin and leave it in your car. The ants will eat it, take it back to their nest - It destroys the Queen

We us a product which I think is called ant traps which you put down on wax paper and the ant are attacked to it and in turn take back to there nest and kills them. We have had excellent results using this product , but I can not remember the name brand.

In your car? Ewww...that's not good. I've heard that a good non-toxic way to get rid of them is to lay down small piles of dry grits...they snack on it and it blows them up from the inside...it expands...their little buggy bodies don't. I've never actually tried it myself, but I've heard it works pretty well...Good Luck!
