Jay Garrick, the original Flash active during World War II and still active today. Barry Allen, the modern day Flash who gave his life to save the world during Crisis on Infinite Earths. Wally West, the former Kid Flash who has taken on the mantle of his mentor. Because of the flow of time and it's relation to speed, Barry Allen still makes appearances now and then.

The latest Flash, although unofficial, was Bart Allen during the recent Infinite Crisis storyline. Bart Allen, the grandson of Barry Allen, came back from the Speed Force wearing his grandfather's uniform. He was previously known as Impulse and then Kid Flash.

The original Flash (1940s version) was Jay Garrick. In the late 1950s, DC editor Julius Schwartz was credited with creating a new, updated version of the character, Barry Allen. Barry was killed in one of DC's seemingly endless attempts to fix their continuity problems. He was replaced by Wally West, who was Barry's protege, Kid Flash for a long time. I think that they've done away with him, as well, in their latest Crisis "event." I have no idea who the new Flash is.
