I'm sure you've heard of this story...a couple's apartment was ransacked and I can't remember now all that happened, but the couple went about their lives until they found a videotape and on it, the burglars taped themselves washing the toilet with the toothbrushes belonging to the couple, and putting them back in the cup by the sink. Ewwww...instead of suing, you could do that instead eh?

Reasons why you don't share toothbrushes:
1. The more than 100 species of bacteria, and hundreds of species of fungi, protozoa, and viruses that have taken up residence in our mouths is difficult to fathom. Microbiologists estimate that, in addition to these known species, there are up to 500 other living, breathing organisms inhabiting our mouths, although only 50 have been identified and named. The sheer number of these creatures is astronomical, considering the fact that our mouths contain more bacteria than the entire world's population, and the fact that our bodies house approximately one trillion bacteria.
2. According to the CDC, the exchange of body fluids from sharing toothbrushes could increase the risk for infections.
3. You may also contract Hepatitis C: Household contacts (people living with a hepatitis C infected person) through sharing blood contaminated personal items, such as toothbrushes, and razors.
I wouldn't risk it.

USING YOUR BOSS' TOOTHBRUSH IS TABOO:
Because:
1. You can get either your teeth and gums infected or vice versa whoever got the deadliest bacteria in the mouth.
2. It is unethical.
3. It is not respecting someone's property.
