I'm really not sure that your husband is cheating on you while he is in Iraq and if your going to divorce him then I would wait until he gets back and I hope you have evidence that he is cheating on you cause if it is the other way around then he will find out.

If you have proof he is having an affair, I would suggest calling a lawyer and getting your ducks in a row before he comes home. There are a lot of things to talk about with a divorce lawyer, and you might as well be armed with as much information as you have. YOu might want to let him know his cheating isn't going unnoticed. You don't want him coming home thinking therre will be a big happy homecoming for him, as you don't want to embarass him in front of his family adn friends, when this is really an issue between the two of you.

Your husband...a soldier in Iraq...is having an affair???

I'm wondering how thats possible unless he's idling away at something on the internet...

if thats the case...I'd wait.

An internet relationship is mindless 2 dimensional typing and has nothing to do with real life commitments or matters of the heart.

You have enough challenges to face with his return...
a divorce now makes it easier for him and infinitely harder for you.

Yes, definitely file for divorce. Don't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!! Being married to the military is hell. My wife had 5 affairs and I am still with her for the sake of my son. Get out while you still have your sanity

This is totally up to you. Talk to your lawyer and see what is the best approach here. I would move out though and get your own place and when he comes home then see where things stand and if you need to file then file.

My brother is fighting in the war....that doesn't make him a good parent or partner...i know the hell he has put my sis in law through...he treats her and the kids like shi* and blames the war for the way he acts.....i dont know your details, but just because he is a soldier .....he may be a hero in the battle field.....but that doesn't make him one in the home. I believe you should do what you believe is right....dont waste a min of your life on something you know isn't gonna work, even if he is a soldier.
good luck.

Awesome, so while he is away fighting in a war, you reward him with cheating on him, and after fighting for his life, he gets to come home to you with divorce papers. You are disgusting and vile. You filthy creature.

Don't lie, you women get so selfish for sex, and when he isn't there to give it, you look for it from his military buddies.

I think he is going through enough right now without his wife filing for divorce. Don't be selfish

File divorce papers now. Stuff him. He cheated on you.

By all means, wait.
If you two have produced children, they should be your priority. The distance, stress and isolation of this separation could be disturbing both of you more than you realize.
Don't be rash.
