I have been nausious (spelling) for the last three mornings. How can I tell if it's morning sickness?

I just finished my period 4 days ago. Now i'm sick the last three mornings. I think it's the flu or food poisioning. I have no money till thursday for at home test and the clinic requires $10 donation. I'm 24 and in university. with guy nine years and engaged. are there certain criteria for morning sickness?

most likely it isn't morning sickness this close to your period, but that could have been pregnancy-related bleeding too. Some women have their period the whole time also. So, my best answer is to tell you to observe other symptoms: fatique, nausea, food cravings, frequent urination, sore breasts, emotionality. The problem is, you can have all these symptoms with other things (like food poisoning) and also that you may experience none or all of them during a pregnancy.
Most people I know tell you the sore berasts is the best bet to look for besides a missed period. That may be the best you can do until you can get a real test. I know it seem slike ages to wait until the end of the week, but your pregnancy would be almost 10 months long so this will feel like nothing in hindsight.

Try to sleep it off. Morning sickness should really be called "All-day sickness", but I found that if I had a little to eat (not much) and just slept another hour our two when I woke up, it mostly went away...if its food poisoning, it would pass ina bout 24 hours most likely...and the flu, well...do you have a fever? chills? check for things that would mean more of a flu first! If it is mornng sickness, it should be accompanied with other symptoms, such as tender breasts.
