my elder daughter took her first steps when she was just 8 months but my younger one was hardly standing when she was 12months . i was pretty worried but soon she started walking and even running and i started worrying that she may fall and get hurt. now she will be going to Lower Kindergarten,and i'm again worried that she may cry for me.....everything will be fine ...but we mothers will never stop worrying!

My first started walking properly at 12 1/2 months, my second was 11 1/2 months when he started, but it took him a while to master. They say average is between 11-15 months.

I have had 2 babies. The older one didn't start walking until she was nearly 12 months old. Had me worried, but Dr said she was fine and would walk when she was ready. She did....
The youngest started walking at 10 months. So cute...
My babies are adults now and I love them dearly. I do miss the baby months though. You don't realize just how fast time goes by until you look back at the past....:)

My first born walked at 11 1/2 mos and my second born walked at 13 months. Watch out when they become this mobile. Your life will change

mine is only 3 months and not walking, of course. I didn't walk until 18 months but my brother ws up by a year. Every baby is different!

My daughter took her first step at 17 1/2 months old; once she could crawl (and stand when she got to where she was going), she preferred to work on talking instead of walking.
