I have a small car. If I were to become a real estate agent, would I need to have a bigger car to tote around clients?

Ours did. It was just easier. Clients can follow you, but it's more pleasant to ride together. Ours talked to us about all sorts of options we had while driving around, and took us out for lunch afterward.

But our real estate agent was the coolest, I don't know that everyone else is as cool as her.

What's your clientele? A budget family would not mind driving around in a small car, or even giving you a ride. However, if most of the people you're meeting are going to buy million dollar homes, a certain level of presentation is required.

Also, nothing wrong with setting up appointments to meet at the property directly.

You should drive your clients around. You don't have to have a huge car, it should just be clean, well kept and NOT smell like smoke. Meeting your clients isn't advisable because many people don't know their way around towns. If it's a one time viewing it may be ok to meet them there but if you are working with them on an ongoing basis or seeing multiple properties, you should drive them around. People get lost and then they are mad at you because they can't find the property.

Depends. My agent drives a Ford Escape Hybrid. Before that he drove an Expedition.
