Actually both...
Marital status is not a factor when it comes to contracting AIDS.
Single people get it from unsafe sex etc... That is all common knowledge..
Married people get it from the same sources too... Your partner could be looking for gratification outside marital lines.. Or your partner could already have AIDS and is concealing it..Anything is possible..

Both get infected with it. There's to many cheaters out there that catch some thing come home and give it to the other. So being married doesn't protect you from that. When your single only way to not get it is to stay away from sex even oral sex or use protection. As for marriages you better hope your spouse is trusting.

Any one can get AIDS nothing matters but having a incident which can get them infected blood and body fluids contact.

Dont take any risks with this disease it kills
