The link below gives you the ability to put in your address, and find out exactly how many sex offenders live in your neighborhood. The links provided show you their name, address, and what they were arrested for. A friend of mine sent this to me, and I've forwarded it to everyone I know. Hope this helps!
PS: pinkruth...there ARE sites that give that info, the one below is only one of many. I agree that criminals are protected too much, but you have the right to know where they live, in reference to where YOU live. Thank goodness for those sites that give that info, for YOUR protection! :)
UPDATE: Okay, thanks for the email about you being in the UK...believe it or not, I found an article in one of your papers online, that states that same site is fixing to "open" a site in YOUR country. This is something that would be useful, but at this time is available, and to point out to many of those that have answered the Police have no idea where many of these sex offenders are, what should happen, and what does are two different things.
everything is recorded on the sex offender, but if they move without telling they are breaking the law, and the police do not have the resources to track them down so it becomes a matter of time waiting fro them to show, often to late.

I have no clue were West Midlands is... you might get on the net by searching, or there might me a sex offeneders group you could ask.. if not try the cops.. Heidi

I dont actually think an official list can be given out due to any harm that may come to the offender.
Its great in this day and age we protect the criminal!

The police know who these people are and keep a close eye on them. giving out data you want means the offender will hide and the police will not know where they are

just make your own list up of people who look weird living nearby ... send the list to a few newspapers and organise a few good lynchings and house burnings too!

Try the Police. Or community center for assault.
