Paul writes to Timothy about overseers and deacons that, among other things, they should be the husbands of one wife. (I Timothy 3:2, 12) These are people who are supposed to be an example to the flock, so it is especially important that they really do things by the Book.
For that matter, while back in Old Testament times the patriarchs did often have more than one wife, God instructed the kings of Israel (whether they obeyed Him is another matter, but still...) that they were not to have multiple wives. This is so their hearts would not be led astray. (Deuteronomy 17:17)
But as far as we 'ordinary people' are concerned, in Matthew 19:3-6, Jesus takes a very strict view of Genesis 2:24, basically indicating that we should live strictly by the following: leave father and mother, cleave to wife, become one flesh. In this instance, He interprets that to mean no divorce (because that is the matter under discussion). Using the same kind of thinking, it would also mean having only one spouse of the opposite sex.

I don't know where such a verse exists, but would you want your wife to have another husband? Probably not because your ego would be crushed and you'd be jealous and guess what, your current wife will feel the same way. A man being able to have multiple wives is equal to saying that the man is superior to women and should be subservient to him. Well, life just ain't that way, sweetie.
You know, I wish I could have bunches of men to take care of my every whim. Like cook my meals, eat my puzzy, manicure my feet, bathe me, etc. Guess what...NOT GONNA HAPPEN!

There isn't one.
The closest you can get is the verse that says that a man shall leave his family and take a woman as his wife and will abandon all other things to be with her.
The singular language implies single wife, but it is never stated. This is another case of the pope making things up back in the dark ages and then they became tradition so we still have them today.

There isn't one that explicitly states so, but most of the verses imply only one wife. Now, put yourself in your wife's shoes. How would you like it if she marries another man to add to you and you both remain married to her. Is it fair? Would you even agree to that arrangement? Don't be selfish!!
1 Tim 3:2-4
2Now the overseer must be above reproach, the husband of but one wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach,
3not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money.
4He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him with proper respect.
