I live in Tennessee. Took me 35 years to finally cross the Mississippi River and travel out west. Since then......I've travelled so much more. But you don't forget that first time. I was driving down Highway 1 in California. I was heading towards Big Sur. Huge rocky cliffs on my left, major drop off to the gorgeous ocean below. I finally had to stop the car and get out and just stare. I remember the music playing in the car.......I remember how the sun set in the sky. I remember exactly how the clouds were positioned. I remember the sounds I could hear in the background. I didn't need a camera.........I held that picture in my head just long enough to make a memory I will never forget. I have never let go of that moment. I think it was one of those times were you felt you were free......alive.......proud.....and hopefull all mushed up into one. It was a moment I'll never forget......a very happy moment in time.

I'm ,usually, just a very happy person. I hope that I haven't yet experienced my happiest day though.
Gosh that would be a let down.
