No. You should be having these secretions (called cervical mucus) throughout your cycle, in varying stages.
Sticky is almost non-existent and what IS there is just that: sticky
Creamy is more like lotion; it's cloudy in color.
Watery is exactly what it sounds like; clear, looks just like water.
Egg white is again exactly what it sounds like; looks like raw egg whites and it's stretchy.
You will usually get the EWCM near the middle of your cycle, around the time you ovulate. This should give you a little better picture of your cycle. :)
