There are probably as many answers to this question as there are lesbians. If they are in an environment where they don't need to be ashamed of their desires, it won't be a problem, and they'll feel like anyone else.
If they are in an environment where they have to keep it quiet that they desire members of the same sex because something bad could happen if they don't, that's a real downer. Particularly if it's a group living situation (e.g. camp) where they are obliged to see other girls undressing and even showering all the time.
Interestingly, it is possible for a lesbian or other person who desires MSSs to be perfectly happy even if she believes she should refrain from acting on her desires (e.g. for religious reasons). And this, even if it means no romantic relationship at all with anyone of either sex. It is a wonderful thing to be able to love everyone equally without lusting after anyone...
