You can use a program like winzip or winrar.It won't do much as the mp3 is already compressed.

well, you could zip it - but mp3 is already a compressed format. the best thing to do is to encode it into a lower bitrate file.

mp3's are normally 128 bit, you can compress it to 96 bit (mp3 pro) by using a program like audacity.
