Certain websites upon opening does not show the text in english font, they show some punjabi font. The text in english show-up after I change the "Encoding" option from the "View" Menu on the toolbar to "Central European ISO". Every new page opened has to be refreshed using this option. This happens mostly with Yahoo when I need to compose a new mail or with www.wikipedia.com
Please help !! I'm tired of selecting the "Encoding" option again & again.

Open the Internet Explorer (XP) --> View --> Encoding --> Select "Unicode (UTF-8)".

Then close the IE & restart the system & then check browsing.

try selecting the auto select option in the view menu,encoding....
(or deselect that option if already selected)

My IE explorer is select to Western European(windows) by default & i m having no problems......

or u can try another browser,may be Firefox or Opera.
I use fire fox now a days & its great ...

Check your browser - tools - internet options - languages to see what type of setting you have. If you have English, then it might be in another area that you'll need to fix.

please set your encoding to unicode (UTF-8)
