My 2 brothers married for papers. One of them is married for 10 years, has 2 kids, and is loving it. Other one kept it as a business, and is fine that way. Many times people ask: Why would you adopt a child when you have your own? Well, to save some body's life.
Why would you marry somebody from the foreign country for the papers? To save their life. People that were born here really take this country for granted. If you can save some body's life by doing them that huge favor, great for you. Do it. Always keep in mind that nobody leaves their country if they could have a life there. USA is the best and the worst country. The best because it gives you economically everything that you want to have, the worst because it takes your spirit away. If only those immigrants new that before it is too late...

ONLY of you are in love with each other. When I first met my husband he offered to marry me for the papers (I'm a foreign national). A week later we realized that we are crazy about each other and he proposed for real! We have been married for 18 months not and are still overseas. I couldn't care less if I never see the US as long as he stays with me!
So, I guess my answer is NO.

No only no, but hell no. If I marry it's because I love a person and want to share my life with them. Of course, things change and divorce happens, but I'd never marry anyone that I didn't love.

I would if he was committed to me as i was to him and if he was my husband of course but i would not do it just to bring him to my country . I would only marry if i truely loved him and wanted to spend the rest of my life with him.

No way! My mum did that and it nearly ruined her life, she still won't leave him! And it's so hard for her to have a life and now they BOTH want me to marry some guy to bring him to this country! BULLSHIT! It's such a stupid thing to do!

If I were not attached to someone else, I would consider marrying someone so that they could get citizenship. Why? It's a great gift to be able to give someone, a better life.

Yes, if he was my friend. I think everyone deserves a chance at the opportunity this country has. I would want to help him out.
