The French have all the skill they need but like Real Madrid they don't work as a team. If there coach drummed it into them they would be able to go further. They need to at least get into the 2nd round as a send off for what would be one of football's all time greats Zidane. As everyone knows got booked for a second time and now won't play again unless France make it to the 2nd round. The way their playing at the momen't Zidane will be saying goodbye from the sideline's.

Door's not closed yet. France have to overcome Togo. Yet the opportunities is still open for 4 contestants in group G.
But playing the strategy like having none, and competing to the other team, esc in Group H, Spain. I bet French wont make to quarter finals.

I wouldn't say absolutely... Strange things have happened in football... But, given their current form, the French are unlikely to win the World Cup

if you look at their group standings it appears in all liklihood they will qualify.
unfortunately there are a lot of not-so-bright people on yahoo who will say they have no chance. these are the same people who are in denial about the americans, ghana, and england.
