Nature empowers people to mate with those who are most compatible for the purpose of procreating new life with the most beneficial immune system possible. If the parents are not most compatible (their immune systems are too alike) then the progeny will have a weaker immune system than is optimal. If this evolutionary behavior becomes common, the species will be at risk because the diseases that prey on us are constantly evolving better attacks against our immune systems. To discourage this behavior, nature makes some of the progeny effectively sterile, by making them homosexual.

I agree with you that a lot of them are really nice people.
But when someone engages in a certain behavior that cuts a good 30 years off the life span, I would encourage everyone to avoid that behavior like the plague.
Homosexual behavior does cut 30 years off the life span, particularly for gay men.
Medically speaking, one would be better off being a pack-a-day smoker.

First of all, there is no "us" or "them".... That being said...I cannot speak for everybody, but I believe that religious conservatives are fascinated and frightened of the taboo, which is why they fixate on homosexuality. They (Christian) say it's a sin, and quote old testament stories, but where in the big 10 does it say homosexual behavior is bad. It doesn't. (Heck, even the story of Sodom and Gomorrah wasn't about the "sin" of homosexuality, if you'd actually read it you'd see the sin was the sin of violence and discourtesy to the 'strangers' in town.) So, if you are going to obey old testament laws, then why do you get to pick and choose only the titillating ones...or do you think women shouldn't go to church during their periods and masturbation is a sin?.

Its the whole "you have to be like me" thing. They feel that whatever they believe, are or do are the only "right" things. Once someone steps out of their little box they get in an uproar. One of my sons is gay and I can tell you that he was born like that, it was not a choice, and he's told me many times he wished he wasn't gay. All of his friends are such great people, I've never met one I didn't like. I wish people would just let them live their lives, its not like they're hurting anyone with their sexual preference.

easy there´s a big moral pressure for people to legitimate believe in gay people or any sympathethics to the cause. Anyway thank you for not caring because sexual orientation is not something that people should care about.
I should elaborate on this subject but theres too little space in this boxes.
anyway moral if a personal concept the trouble is when it becomes a masses issue.

There are two main reasons to hate the homesexuality.
1- God has created every creature in the form of pairs for the sake of offsprings and generation continuity. Every thing created by God keeps some purpose and God demands to act upon according the the rules he made. Even God forbids males to use backside of females for sex.
2- Homosex has not been considered admirable thing ever in history. It is only adopted by those who do not get access to their opposit sex. and later on it became fashion in some socities. Women is meant for sex not men.
and if you consider it is against Man's level to be sexed.

First of all, it's not a choice for most people...I'm a lesbian and this is not a choice for me...Trust me, if it were I'd probably not be like this...Not because I'm not happy with who I am...It's just that most gays give us a bad name and I just hate to be in this category...
