You can learn just about everything there is to learn--if people already know. If it's new knowledge, exploration of the billions of internet sites could also give you new knowledge. You can learn languages, learn all the sciences, learn all the trivia, learn all the gossip, opinions, find out how many really weird people with bizarre ideas there are on the planet, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera.

The Internet is a godsend to those of us who can't get out of the house that easily. I'm a professional writer, so I use the Internet to find research sources. Right now I need information on small handguns and their possible recoil. No one in my immediate circle of friends and relations uses firearms, so the Internet helps me get the answers I need relatively quickly.

In addition to facts and anecdotal information, the Internet can also put me in contact with people who use firearms. Via chatrooms or IM clients, I can talk to these people. A discussion can generate new ideas and avenues of research, which is essential to improving the quality of my work.

The Internet is a gateway to people and resources and entertainment and a seemingly endless variety of fascinating subjects. I could get lost following links and exploring the new frontiers that open up to me when I go Web surfing for information.

I hope this answer helps.

"Internet" - It is a world of dream. You could learn anything from it (Good or Bad). It is the place to entertain you as per your mood & as per your need. Each day if you could explore 1000 new items from internet then I assure you that your average life time would not suit with the knowledge that you could gain from internet.

So learn what you need for you life & living & not for your bad needs.
