- Sin. It's the #1 cause of mankind's problems.
- Greed and Pride (leads to much of the following)
- Crime (rape, theft, murder, child pornography, kidnapping, etc.)
- Crimes against humanity (torture, experimentation, genocide)
- Unwillingness to get involved (turning a blind eye when abuse and injustices occur)
- Abuse (spousal and child, as well as other types)
- Politics (what a joke)
- Religion (killing, rather than loving, in the name of God)
- Environmental issues (pollution, global warming, poor use of natural resources, deforestation, etc.)
- Natural disasters (hurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes, flood, drought, etc.)
- Economies (disparate global economies, poverty vs wealth)
- Starvation (especially in 3rd world countries)
- Disease (especially, but not limited to, 3rd world countries)
- Education (lack of edu. or poor edu. leads to poverty and a class of people who cannot defend or fend for themselves)
- Waste (indulgent over-consumption, poor stewardship of what we already have)
- Covetousness (wanting what others have that you do not have)
- Love of wealth and power (people will stop at nothing to get what they want)
- Unfaithfulness (not just to spouses, but to families, communities, work, etc.)
- Selfishness (Lacking the ability to empathize...demanding your way. Make no mistake, this is a mass problem as well as an individual one)
- War
- Terrorism
- Slavery (it still goes on today...it's just disguised as "cheap labor")
- Sex slave trade (the wholesale abuse of women and children around the world)
- Immorality
- Lack of responsibility
- Judicial systems (when money can buy a better defense...)
- Drugs
- Addiction
- Teen pregnancy
- Organized Crime
- Lies, lies, lies
- Entertainment/Media (feeding the world its version of beauty, truth, etc.)
- News Media (oh the inaccuracies! and all the trouble that causes)
- Cultural misunderstandings or insensitivity
- Hatred
- Bigotry
- Egocentrism
- Sexism
- Racism
- Unemployment
- Poverty
- Homelessness
- Social Security (and other issues that face the elderly)
- Rights vs Responsibility (when your rights step on mine, where does responsibility come in?)
- Child abandonment (the making of orphans throughout the world)
- Technology (creating a world that is increasingly interactive with machines rather than other humans)
- Human Desensitization through Media (i.e. violent images, violent actions, adult themes, lack of consequences, etc.)
Okay, I may add more to this later. This is as many as I can think of at the moment.

Here is a list of what I consider to be the worlds biggest problems.
War including all conflicts in the world such as in Iraq, but also in Africa. Well, war has always been with us and it always will be.
Global warming I do think it's really a problem that will become more and more apparent.
Environmental issues other than global warming, although it's all kind of linked.
Human rights
Aids it's so bad I don't even know what to say about it.
Hunger the challenge to get food to those who need it and away from some of us who have too much.
Crime, especially violent crimes that target women and children.
Drugs and the irresponsible use, selling, and buying of them whether they are illegal or legal.
Religion it makes some of its adherents rabid.
Nuclear weapons most scary nuclear weapons in the wrong hands.
Racism and Xenophobia ( fear and dislike of foreigners)
Poverty the fact that as the poor get poorer the rich get richer. I feel the gap is ever widening.
Birth control it should be taught all over the world and women all over the world should have access to safe reliable birthcontrol.
It's 4am that's all I can think of.

Good question, I believe that all the problems of the world are interconnected to disobedience. Wars, rapes, and all the other horrable evils are the works of people who simple choose to live their lives the way they think is right, refusing to follow Gods commendments to love Him and to love others. We can try to change the whole world, yet we should not forget the question. "how can I save my soul?"
