Outlook is a Microsoft program that, if not included with your computer's software, must be purchased. It can perform a number of functions, beside handling email, and is somewhat cumbersome to use. I suggest using Outlook Express, which is included with Internet Explorer...it is much easier to use since it only handles email functions. It is simple to setup a hotmail account since it a MS-compatible function. It is free, too.

You need to know the POP3 & SMPT servers of the email account you want to assign to outlook. The problem is most free emails do not allow POP3 fowarding of their mail.
