Is this a keeper league question? Assuming all things equal I like Wells he has edge in HR, RBIs and SBs the only caveat is assuming you treat all OF positions equally there are many more OF candidates than 3B candidates so find a great OF is easier than 3B.

That commerce would never ensue for some causes: at the same time as you may imagine Wright is puffed up, he's the Mets' franchise participant. they gained't area with him except and until eventually they fall properly below .500 in the perfect 12 months of his contract. There will be little element to procuring and promoting Bay for Wells. that ought to really be a change of one power-hitting outfielder for yet another. finally, the Blue Jays does no longer prefer to area with Bautista (their in reality bona-fide MVP candidate) any better than the Mets would prefer to commerce for him (he's an unknown with in reality one reliable 12 months lower than his belt). Trades like this, the position 2 communities commerce stars to at least one yet another, hardly ever ensue. maximum blockbuster trades contain a contending crew procuring and promoting away potentialities or youthful gamers to a non-contending crew in replace for proficient veterans. hardly ever do you spot 2 communities that desire to contend replacing a pair of intense priced veterans for yet another such pair.

wright.....no doubt about it. he keeps getting better and better, plays a much shallower position and has better numbers! plus, i think wells is playing a bit over his head now. look up his career stats for proof. granted, he may be "blossoming", but WRIGHT IS BLOWING UP!

If this is a keeper league, Wright is an absolute no brainer.

DEFINATELY WRIGHT. 3B like him don't come around too often. That position is much shallower too.
