at the end of the group stages of the 1970 world cup it was quite clear that the tournament was a two-horse race. england and brasil had dominated the early stages to an extent nobody had expected - or even believed.
in their quarter-final match against west germany england dominated the first half of their game, and were 2-0 ahead with only twenty minutes to go when their manager took off their star player to rest him for the semi-final.
west germany scored two goals in the final twenty minutes to draw level, then put england out 3-2 after extra time.
the only teams i have yet seen playing like world cup winners are argentina and probably spain.
but it is football - anything can happen.

In answer to your question it has to be Brazil, ....BUT, I don't think either of these two will win the Cup, For me it will be either Argentina who are playing the best football of the competition so far and I think Spain are very close to Argentina, So its one of these two for me with Argentina edging it because of the strength of their substitutes,
Brazil look alittle bit passed their best although Ronaldino can win games on his own. England are all too predictable and as soon as they come up against a team who can defend cross balls England will be in trouble because they have no midfield creativity, or someone capable of playing that killer ball.

How can you put England? They will be knock out in a quarter final because they are too predictable. Brazil will be on a final with German not with England. To answer your question, judging from the previous games and what Brazil can become of as the games progress, I think Brazil will come at the top of German.

England!! Both have played poorly so far but did you see the chances Brazil have been giving away?!?! Both Croatia and Australia should have scored about two or three times. At least England haven't been giving chances away and with Rooney coming back I'd England have a great chance.

Brasil have good chances to go to the final and i hope they win. But England never, they really don't have anything to go far...
Brasil, Argentina, Portugal and maybe Ghana...they have strong teams.

england hasn't been playing great and they could end up playing germany soon which would spell their end in my opinion. Brasil hasn't been playing to the caliber they're capable of either. i'll say argentina
