I suffer from horrible nightmares. I want to find information on color energies and powers so that I can make a necklace to help give me peaceful sleep. I have tried many things, and I don't have the means or desire to resort to a psychiatrist or sleep therapist.

Color combinations, single colors, etc... something for a necklace because it is the only thing I can guarantee having on me at all times.

All of them... just leave the lights on. If you turn the lights off you'll be in total blackness... empty, lost, and without protection...

That's not true. Just stop watching those silly movies before you go to bed and quit playing those wild video games. Plus, try to eat a balanced diet -- junk food can mess with your dreams as well. Also, play some relaxing music, no rap or metal, before you sleep.

Actually, when I was young I used to have wild dreams. Some of them were very scary... I am not going to go into any Freudian enlightenment here but, once you face the cause of your fears, or stop growing physically, the bad dreams fade away quickly to sleepy world of wonder and adventure.

Good Luck and enjoy.

Actually, in the dark, your eyes cannot perceive color. So, it would be kind of pointless to worry about what color thingees you put around your neck.

Further, if you are having nightmares - probably having nothing around your neck would be a heck of a lot better. Pain or even slight discomfort could manifest itself in your dreams as a nightmare.

What you should do is get exercise during the day some, so you get tired in the evening. Then get an ocean sounds CD (about $10) or an electronic sound generator (about $15), and they will help you drift off to a peaceful sleep.

WHITE is the pure color that takes any darkness feeling away.
Try also with positive creative visualization: "see" yourself in a bright white light, visualize a beautiful place where you see yourself happy and calm.
Ef you believe in God say a little prayer: Thank you my Creator for this day, Bless me and make me sleep calm and nice like a little baby in mother's arms.
Ef you believe in Angels: call your Guardian Angel and ask to watch on you and S.Michel Archangel.
MANTRA MEDITATION: i have sweet dreams, i have sweet dreams, i have sweet dreams......

Nightmares can someties be due to demonic spirits roaming about in your house.
Do you have magic books?
Anything sitanic
psychic
devolic
the music you llisten to etc

I suggest you burn these.

Also, eating heavy dinners late at night can cause the same effect.

As for colors, if your blue hair hasn't helped, try green.

Gosh, what helps me is reading happy books/magazines before bed and having calming colors/smells around like blue/yellow colors and smells like vanilla and lavender. You might try incense, it's really great for burning at bedtime & is stronger than candles.

Sage green. That's the color scheme in my bedroom and I never have nightmares when I sleep there.

Much like garlic to a vampire, to touch a banana causes burns. Prolonged exposure causes us to die. That is why many Atheists suffer from calcium deficiencies.

Blue is a calming color. But if you are ever out shopping a 'dream catcher' might be what you really want.
