i think kids maybe 13 and under should not use myspace because it is one of the more popular sites and has older members on it.
xanga is probably the better place for younger users because you dont see many adults on that site, it's mostly 11 to 13/14 year olds on there. when i was younger i used to have one and i never got weird messages or comments, so it's a pretty good place for young kids.

Yes and no. Depends on the kids more then anything, on whether they know what information to not give out and if they are informed users of myspace services and the risk that kids their age have with using it.

Yes. For having a lot of experience on the site and having 10000 friends I can tell you it is not a good site for those under 16. They should stick to neopets or something.

I dont think so. They have settings to set it up so only certain friends can see there profile. As long as the kid knows about child preditors and uses there brain ( and I don't mean that in a mean way, just common sense and try not to believe everything they see and hear), then they should not have a problem!! Yes I know kids dont think that way but the parents need to monitor there kids online or set the profile up with them so they know what info they should or should not add.

Yes. There are a lot of stalkers who frequent MySpace looking for young kids. Not a nice environment.

if you use the site the way it was meant to be used, it would be OK, but if you get stupid on the site no,
if you see someone who is trying to talk to you the wrong way such as sexual on comings, report it to the local authorities,
it has a lot to do with the individuals user on a web site, it is similar to the 360 that yahoo has. you have to be respectful and not answer the wrong kind of people.

Yes cause they put where they live and talk to anyone so yes it is a bad site for anyone really but worse for younger kids.

Yes. It is basically a bad site for anyone who is not an adult. You are supposed to be 18 to sign up, anyways.
