Walk like Egyptians was sung by girl band 'The Fleas' - they were comprised of Jumpy , Itchy and Sandra - the song was never actually released due to intervention by the band The Bangles who had already recorded a similar song called 'walk like an Egyptian' - this is a pity because The Fleas , especially Jumpy , actually did walk like Egyptians . The song Mondays manic was written by the artist formally known as Vince and it is said was later stolen and recorded by , you guesed it , The Bangles again who just reversed the words and claimed it as their own .

i can sing, i can dance, i can walk like an Egyptian i can do a lot of issues that require no description and that they are maximum relaxing to do without clothing or regulations and that i've got mentioned too a lot, uh, even though all of it's fiction
