because they are looking for something or they just bored and want to see other people question in order to have fun and waste time. or they are net person. sometiem they really need help with things and that is just one of the good thing here.

1)Nothing better to do
2)Really interested in gaining knowledge
3)Showing off(one's knowledge)
4)Making friends
5)Earning points
6)Out of habit

bored and not ready to go to bed., also something i might say could help someone, i also get some good jokes some times from here. i guess there are many reasons, and it is fun trying to see if i can get to the next level even though i don't get anything but points.
