Quite frankly, I think she is absolutely NUCKING FUTS. She has aliens for parents and her head is as big as a garbage can lid. She's a windbag and has nothing to say that is remotely meaningful. She takes all manner of antipsychotic medication to keep her from seeing and talking to those "people" she says follow her around the nut farm she lives in. She's got spiders in her armpit hair and she thinks she's sleeping with that guy from Leave It to Beaver- the big brother Wally (she says he's hot!). Anyway, what was the question? Anne Coulter? Yeah. She's a lunatic and it's NOT an act. How do I know? I shared a room with her at the "Looney Bin" in Connecticut in the Spring of 1999.

She is not nutz, she's just a conservative extremist, and well I guess being an extremist she kind of is nuts, just remember that many conservatives tend to be childish and small minded so you must take what they say with a grain of salt. I'm sure she has a good point somewhere in all that garbage she spews you just gotta find that good point and say "your right on that one Anne, too bad the rest is just childish, senseless crap and lies." Unfortunately it's not an act, frighteningly alot of people in this country think like her, if we continue down her direction of mentality we could become the next Nazi germany, or Commie Russia. Problem is most people don't think of her as anti American, they hear The words Republican and God a couple times and they jump on the bandwagon.

I don't think I can outanswer Thrilhaus on this one; he/she hit this one right on the head, and convered everything pretty thoroughly.
The only other thing I can add to that is that when I really get down to the bones of why I dislike Anne Coulter and think she is insane is because of her lack of perspective. Mrs. Coulter and many other neocons have a distinct disability to try and comprehend the other side's point of view. I have seen her on many mulitple guest forums and she is almost childish in her across the board disagreement of the issue. I don't think with her you could agree to disagree. And that's one of the many things that frighten me about the neocons, they have this mindset of drawing a hard line, that no matter what cannot be changed; be it having compassion for their fellow man who doesn't fit their narrow ideaology, or staying the course in a poorly planned war.

No, she's just not a nice person. She knows exactly what kind of response her diatribes are going to get from her supporters and her detractors and she knows that she will sell more books if she's outrageous. While I don't understand how anyone can believe the things she does, I don't doubt that she believes them. A few points about her most recent flap:

1. She thinks it says something profound about liberals that they don't mind being called "godless". I think that people who don't believe in god probably don't see the term as an insult since it is actually accurate, and those liberals who have faith generally feel that it is a private matter, and feel that if their faith is strong it doesn't matter what Ann Coulter thinks of them.

2. She says that she doesn't have to respect the "Jersey Girls", Cindy Sheehan and others who have different views than her just because they've lost loved ones, and she is right about that. I'm saying that the same is true for the other side. Neocons think it's ok for them to criticize anyone who disagrees with them, but that those who disagree with them must respect the Neocon icons, i.e., all who criticize Bush are spineless America haters, but it's perfectly ok to spread lies about and endlessly criticize Clinton. What's good for the goose is good for the gander. And don't give me that crap about Clinton being being morally unfit. Bush has been in a position to help people who are in poor circumstances and has not only not help them but has worked only to benefit those who are already well off. It's odd how many self-described Christians don't seem to remember the parts about charity and "how you treat the least among you, you also treat me".

3. She criticizes liberals as being narrow minded and not allowing other points of view. She also said we should invade all Islamic countries, kill their leaders and force the people to convert to Christianity. Never mind the fact that our military, as strong as it is, is in no shape to try and countrol hundreds of millions of people, does that sound like someone who allows for other points of view? If Islam is evil because it preaches that anyone who doesn't follow it's laws and beliefs must be killed or convert, how exactly does invading a bunch of countries, killing millions and forcing conversions show that Christianity is a more loving religion than Islam.

Ann Coulter is not crazy, she's just a horrible person.

Ann Coulter is, extremely probable, the most despicable human being in the media proper this second. She is type of a blend of a Klan member from the early 1900's and an intense sketch personality....

If her persona is not an act then this country needs some serious mental health attention. I know this country has always had its greedy haters but who told you that this behavior was acceptable? Do you take pride in the fact that you hate without any reasonable basis? Do you realize how ignorant and hypocritical your words are?
It is a sad to see people devolve into mindless drones that perpetuate their own selfish existence by hating other people just because they are different in some way.
I have less fear of a terrorist attack then I do of these pod people.

She found a way to sell a lot of books for a lot of money right?

How lunatic can that be?

no actually I think she has a very valid point. Liberalism has become a "religion" The liberals stand behind the Jersey girls..and other like them because we are not supposed to attack them.Yet, the liberals will slap a name on you in a heart beat i.e homophobia. She does in times, over react, but allot of her stuff is misinterpreted, she uses metaphors to get her point across and allot of people don't get it. They only see the "attack"

Haha, no. She is just very strong in her beliefs. There is a difference. One just be open-minded enough to see it instead of calling her a lunatic.

I like Coulter. She says what is on her mind and it is the truth even if it is not popular.
