i need to calculate future bandwidth requirement for my network . total number of users is 300 . Presently i am not using any VOIP or streaming applications . But in future there will be VOIP and media streaming application which will run on this LAN . How much bandwidth will be sufficent so that I dont have to upgrade my LAN again atleast for 10 years

Because of the nature of computers/electronics it's impossible to upgrade right now to a level that is guaranteed to sufficient in 10 years.
My suggestion is to upgrade as much as current technology and budget will allow. For instance, you may want to upgrade your network infrastructure to a 1 Gigabit lan (change all your routers, hubs, switches, firewalls etc) and upgrade the workstations slowly as needed (or all at once if it's in the budget) and get as fast a connection as you can afford. You can likely get a connection type that will allow for enough bandwidth in 10 years without upgrading, but those connections cost a few mill a month.
an OC48 for instance is typically $150, 000 per month, but chances are you don't need that kind of speed NOW, and in 10 years, OC48 might be what we are using in our homes for $50/month, and OC192 will be cheaper than OC48 is now.I suggest you do your upgrading slowly over the next 10 years. If you try to do now what will still be good in 10 years, you will bankrupt your company.
And rather than "calculating" your "future" bandwidth needs, which is impossible because we don't know what other Internet toys will be developed in the future, simply upgrade when it becomes necessary given your current usage.
That's the best answer you are likely to get unless another user here has a time machine or crystal ball that really works!

Realistically, you pick to do a touch guessing, and some web page structure. So. in case you web page is 350 ok and it calls an swf report in at a million.2 megs, a 50 ok jpeg, and 20 little 5 ok gifs, you've a web page that makes use of ... humina... carry the... a million.7 megs of sauce each and each fill viewing. So now you need to guess your perspectives, yet which will be complicated. that is in simple terms math from there. 1000 perspectives an afternoon at a million.7 megs a view is a million.7 gigs of "bandwidth" provide or take. It receives a littel funky with the 1024s and the digital vs decimal counting of megs and gigs and whatnots. in case you run your web site up a pole, and stick an superb hit counting redirect in to the bypass you may do get a more effective positive idea, yet upon getting a area, there is each danger that you need to have some bean counting software to paintings with.
