most of the people say money does matter, somebody says reputation, .......... so what do you think?

Success in life is being the best YOU that you can be. It is not about money or fame it is about you being fulfilled with whatever you achieved (or did not) in life.

What do I count as being successful in life? Finishing the race well and achieving God's will in my life as well as helping people.
Ya can't take your money, reputation, possessions, etc, with you when you go.
Granted they are important to survive in this world, but just having a lot of them does not make one successful or happy in life. You need only read the quotes of those who many think have it "made" (such as celebrities) and you'll find that many of them aren't happy, even though they've "got it all." There has to be more to life than what we see here and now.

Success is measured by how you affect those around you ("It's a Wonderful Life," anyone?).
Ultimately, you have no control over what happens to your possessions (thieves, loss, stock market, hurricanes). Furthermore, you'll die someday and your relatives will divide the spoils. The more you had accumulated, the more will go to the government.
Wealth may allow you to influence more people, but only what you have done for or against your fellow man will endure.

Success in life in my view is winning the hearts of the people.What I mean is you can earn money in many ways.To earn a coin you have many ways.Automatically if you are rich the
people are around you.But you didn't win their hearts but you had
won their physical bodies.It's not the real success in my view.Winning the hearts of as many people as can is the real success.It's not easy.It's not difficult too.

every life has its own purpose of living in this world our personal achievements is just simple/minor success... if you finally find and made up your true mission or purpose of living by then you know life is successful.

acheive your goals..children have dreams which grow with tthem if they work for it...& making these dreams come true in their youth or when they are grown ups...then this is the success in life..money doesn't matter..but what matters here is "will"...a strong will build a strong personality

i think that when you've reached to the point of life where you've reached to your desired goal, whichever way it is financially or by having the ownership of something likewise. at that point of life when you've reached your goal, thats what you call as success in life.

Everybody will be having some goals in his life.If he achieves it ,he is successful.Money , reputation etc are his temporary goals.
