Unless it's a malevolent feeling (evil) or the feeling like your in harms way; I really wouldn't worry to much. Most ghosts are hear because they have unfinished business that they feel they have to take care of in order to pass on into the light. Others are so attached to a place, object or even a person that they just don't want to leave. It's rare that a ghost will do harm unless it's a poltergeist which are pranksters of a sort. It's said that poltergeists are normally attracted to a home through the pull of a newly turned teen age girl. For some reason this is the case because of all the hormonal changes that are going on with the girl at that time. Still it's hard to really figure out if it's truth or fiction because of how hard it is to prove the existence of Ghosts, Poltergeists etc.
I'm a fan of ghost hunters the new Sci Fi channel show. Those guys are just average joe's who are plumbers by day and by night try to prove or disprove the evidence of ghosts or other spirits in places. They've had some freaky things occur and caught it on video and tape recordings. Things that can or can not be explained. In fact the end of season 2 they got to go and investigate the famous Colorado Hotel that was the inspiration for Stephen Kings Horror Story ( and later movie ) The Shining. The reason they went to investigate it was because Mr. King and his Wife who had stayed at the legendary hotel while he tried to get inspirations for a new book actually had strange experiences of their own. Considering the fact they had experiences was why Mr. King decided on the book The Shining.
Still, it's really rare to come across a malevolent spirit. I wouldn't worry but you might want to try to see if you can learn more about what you think you heard and felt. Maybe look into the history of the home you live in (if it's a fairly older home that is and not a recently built one). Most times you can find that information out through the County records if you tell them you want to learn about the home your living in and who lived there before you.
*hugs*

Put a nightlight in your room or sleep with your lamp on a for a couple of days. These are very normal feelings you're having. I remember when I was about 8, I watched Friday the 13th Part 3 and couldn't sleep after that. I did what I told you and it worked.

ok... look, if its the first time you hear that then simply ignore it, could well be wind and a bullet-like sound from outside.
if you keep on hearing this noises and a presense then (if are not that scared) try talking to it... tell "it" go to the light, search for the light.
now if you want to do something crazy lol... tell "it" let you take pictures of it and record voices. if you STILL keep on hearing things or feeling a presense then talk to your family, there is nothing wrong telling other people about that.
i believe in ghosts, EVEN if i havent seen any in my life appart from in videos and pictures.
so dont think people would say that you are crazy lol

Most "ghosts" manifest them self's in between midnight and five in the morning. If it is past that time they are less likely to manifest. You could be Psy sensitive where you are sensing something that happened long ago or even picking up something in the future. Don't be scared most spirits cannot hurt you.

Was it very cold in the room? If it is then it could be. Check the history of your house.
