Have you been to see a doctor? This is very unhealthy. Something could be wrong with you or the baby.

Yes, it happened to me. When I first got pregnant, I weighed 118. Well the day I went into labor I still weighed 118. Granted my son was 8 weeks premature. But the reason that I wouldn't gain weight was because I had the worse case of morning sickness. Therefore I my baby had gained weight, but I hadn't because I could hardly eat. The best thing to do is to keep taking your vitamins. Keep your baby nourished.

Hello, I had this problem as well. The doctor was always telling me to eat, eat, eat! I am a plump woman so this made no sense to me why I was loosing weight while I was pregant. The doctor told me that the baby was taking everything away from my body. So, then he told me to drink "Carnation Instant Breakfast" shakes. He told me to drink three a day plus keep eating 6 small meals a day as well. Everything turned out fine. My healthy baby weighted 8lbs & 6oz. And after birth I weighed 40lbs less than before I was pregant. Ask your doctor what he thinks about it. Good luck.

That's fairly normal. Many women rarely gain a lot of weight in the beginning, as the baby only weighs about a pound at this point...Check with your OB/gynecologist at your next check-up if it's still a concern.

yes, although its not really a good thing, I actually lost weight during my first 5 months with my last child due to morning sickness that lasted all day. As long as you are following yourdiet properly, don't worry too much, especially if you were over weight to start with.

it is common thing some people don't get bigger till the last month or two, my sister didn't show till she was 8 months and even then you really couldn't guess...if you are that concerned then got to your doctor and just tell them how your feeling about the hole thing and then when you have another ultrasound they can tell you if the babay has grown.....you might be carrying all in the hips and butt.....

It's not unheard of but you should definitely see your doctor to check that you and the baby are thriving.
Best wishes and God bless.
