Yes, they are real i've had personal experiences in this subject all good. I took care of my grandmother with bone cancer for 2 years. She was able to share all of her experiences to the other side with me b4 she past away. You and all of us have a spirit inside that is keeping us alive and that continues on after death. You only loose your physical body but never your spirit. I do believe in the good and the bad. Where's there is one there is the other. Hope i helped you. God Bless

Good question. The answer is within what we define as reality. If we qualify our imaginations fired up by emotional outbursts as real than they are probably real to those people who have such imaginations. If we limit reality to only what could be measurable, length, width, mass, and so on and so forth, then the answer is a resounding no. Now we can also go on a different tangent; what do you mean by ghost. Do you mean like a haunting ghost or soul? There the question becomes much more complicated and so does the answer. Not a prayer! Good grief! If all the people who have lived and died on this Earth since the beginnings of man had a ghost we would all be covered in slime....Of course it would become common acceptable practice for us to reach out and touch everyone we encountered to see if they were real! We all know how much fun that would be so, given it has unfortunately never been legalized to grope your neighbor...No, no ghosts.

I'm still not sure what I believe. But my grandmother died 18 years ago. 3 times since her death I have woken up to see her standing over me at the end of my bed, like she was watching over me. She was dressed the same way each time. It has happened in two different places I've lived, both of which she had never seen. None of the times it happened was scary at all, just a feeling of calm.

Ghosts? That is a Halloween word isn't it? Somebody wraps up in a white sheet and moans, "WHOOOOOOOOO"
If you are referring to Spirits who died very recently and they are then seen by someone they love who is reasurred by the sight of their presence for several seconds, I wouldn't call these spirit folks "ghosts".They are what they were before they died. They only lost their dense physical body(s). What you're referring to is a talent--both to appear that way, and to perceive that way. It's fairly rare too.

Yes have seen more than a few in my time.
Have a few sharing our home with us now, and that's true I'm not trying to be a smarta**.
What's the spookiest thing though is, it's just you and the cat in the house and you hear someone call your name, and the cat ain't talking.

they really are real the only thing you have to do is be able to see them on a regular basis like I do

I have seen fake ones though, ones that i hit on the head or slapped on the cheek.
