Because rock music is an instrument of protest. It is the best platform to let out your anger, pain , joy, sorrow. Rock music gives expression to your innermost feelings & desires. It can make you cry, laugh uncontrollably, become so angry that you feel like banging your head in the wall or soothe you. Rock is not just a genre of music, it is a culture.

its the beat thats a little faster than the heart beat it makes the heart rate jump why do you think run-dmc and all the raers sample old rock and oldies bass parts for the heart effect all music is for danceing or to pull up an emotion

I just like the music, and the words to the songs tend to have more meaning,well meaning to me anyway.Most rockers have had some kind of drama in their lives so they can write about real life.. Also if you're angry,it's the best music to stress too!!

Because the artists can actually Play an instrument. I like the older stuff though.(70's, 80's & 90's)
