George Bush deserves the Nobel Piece Prize.
After all, our country has ben ripped to Pieces. Iraq is in Pieces. The seniors medical plans are in Pieces. Military bases are being divided into Pieces for private industry. Schools have been ripped to Pieces to ensure that "NO" child is left behind; only a 30% drop-out rate in High Schools nation wide, with no classes for trades like mechanics, carpenters, etc. Yes, he does deserve the Nobel PIECE Prize.

George Bush doesn't deserve the Nobel Peace Prize because he has done nothing to foster or to briing about any form of world peace whatsoever. He initiated the war in Irac, not as a last resort, but as a war of choice and he did so on the flimsiest of excuses if not outright lies. Initially he said the reason for the war was to force Sadam to give up its weapons of mass destruction.
When no weapons of mass destruction were found he said the U.S. was going to liberate the Iraqi people and then he said it was to bring democracy to that region of the world. Over 2500 American military men and women are now dead with thousands wounded and it is estimated that over 100,000.00 Iraqis have died as a result of the war. He did not go to war as a last resort. He did not build a coalition of powerful allies before going into Irac because they did not believe what he offered as evidence of the need for war justified a war and the great nations of Europe and Asia wanted the U.N. to continue peaceful means of insuring that Irac had given up its weapons of mass destruction if they had any at all.
In addition he has threatened Iran and in doing so has refused to take the use of atomic weapons against Iran off the table. He has done nothing to bring about peace in Palestine and genocide continues in the Sudan. There is no area of world affairs where it could be said that President Bush has contributed to World Peace. While the war in Afganistan was probably justified, (And that is the reason why a true world coalition supported the U.S. there) it is a real stretch to say that anyone deserves a Nobel Peace Prize even for a just war.
None of the above is a reason to give anyone a Noble Peace Prize. That is why George W. Bush does not deserve it.
If your reference is to his father, George Herbert Walker Bush, because of his charity work in raising money for the sunami victims with Bill Clinton, then maybe OK ,if he shared it with Bill Clinton, but not George W. under any circumstances.

If I weren't so surprised by this question, I would laugh my butt off! What has he done to promote peace? Seriously! He started a war that was based on a lie against a country that posed no threat to the US and was in no way involved in the 9/11 attacks. And not only that, but Iraq certainly hasn't had any peace since the invasion three years ago. What an asinine question!

YOU MUST BE JOKING!!! Perhaps, the booby prize... there are over 2,500 young Americans who've given their lives for a war we never should have started! Dubya has done nothing to bring peace to the world. Talk about an oxymoron - George W. Bush and Peace. Heaven help us all!

Bush has done less, to promote peace, on our planet, than almost any other individual, I can think of.
If there were a prize given out, to promote war, and destruction of the peace , I would give George that award, hands down.

This is a joke right? Like his war on an abstract noun. I find it sadly amusing to watch as the sheep mindlessly bleat their praise for a man and party that have done nothing but lie and steal since 2001. Name one program that has improved your life since he came to office?
I will name a few that have definitely made your life worse: 1. Clean air initiative allows corporations to pollute more. 2. Healthy forests allows logging companies to log in federal parks 3. his energy policy which was written by the oil companies which means there is little incentive to produce alternate energies. 4. Bankruptcy Act which was written by the credit card companies makes it impossible to completely wipe out debt. Patriot act allows the government to invade your privacy among others. 6. the illegal invasion and occupation of Iraq which will cost us so much money our grandchildren will be paying on it.
I'm sure you get the picture.

Even if Iraq turned out to be the best democracy of all time, there is no way he will ever receive it.
There are several reasons:
1. his personal instruction to kind of alter or twist and sometimes flat ignore portions of the geneva convention.
2. G. Cuba prison ignoring rights of non-POWs to be charged with a crimes, rights to see family and in some cases keeping their identities secret
3. Torture practices using 'retention' - that's when they send prisoners to countries that allow torture so they can say 'we didn't do it'
4. Not allowing the Red Cross to inspect prisoners in certain prisons.
That's a few and I'm tired of typing.

Because he is a war criminal for unilaterally declaring war on Iraq against the UN's wishes and most of the rest of the World and he is a war monger and he is the greatest threat to World peace since the cold war. Jules, lecturer. Australia.

Well, Sweden is in charge of the prize, and Bush doesn't meet the criteria for it. He would have to, you know, promote peace and understanding. Maybe next year, I guess.
