i use the program that came with my webcam or movie maker.try this !is good and it's in windows

go to www.camtasia.com. Try camtasia 3.0. Its a webcam capture program. They let you try it out for 30 days. This is not a screen capture program that only takes a "picture" of the screen. This program captures the full video of the webcam. Has a lot of other features aswell, like Live Output, That lets you play back the video and let other people view it as your webcam. Go to the website, download the demo and try it out.

If you have Windows XP, connect the Webcam, go to My Computer, Click on the Webcam to bring up what it sees. Click take a snapshot to take a snapshot.

no you dont need anything speacial. most webcams come with a program that they want you to use but it is not nessasry to use that either
