ok my girlfriend does not remember the last time she had her period and we seem to think that she should have it either now or she is a week late. now she has been under some extrem stress lately i mean school job shes moving her family and plus shes worried bout this. ok now yesterday she came up to me and said that she gained 4 pounds that day which i know that its way to early for her to be gaining weight at this time. but also last night she was cranky which i thought was good because usally she gets like that when her period is coming but the thing that threw me off was she was crying bout everything and it wasnt normal idk if its form the stress or what. but today came and she was having some bad headaces and all but then she got somethin like a period but it was very light and was pink but i read that this could be an Implantation Bleeding so were both a little worried right now and i am tryin to find out as much as i can from ur exp what do u think is she preg or not.plzhelp ty

You need to get a pregnancy test. If she is pregnant, she could be experiencing implantation bleeding or a period. When someone gets a period while being pregnant, it is generally lighter and more pink than a normal period. This could be from stress or she could be pregnant. I would guess that she was pregnant, but it could be from all the stress. I wish you the best. Good Luck!!

don't freak out yet its waaayyyy too soon. Stress can knock your period off the calendar for the whole month, or the cycle itself could be changing its timing.
You really need to go to the store and get a test. They're very good now, they're better at dectecting those pregnacy hormones even if she hasn't missed her period yet.
All those symptoms you're pointing out could just simply be; all stress related(including her missed perod)
Don't freak out yet its just too soon to tell by looking at those symptoms.
Go get a test and find out for real.
I have more experience in this area than most I have six kids of my own. The reason I hesitate to give any advice more than get a test is because every woman is different and every pregnacy is different I've had six and no two were the same. I did have the implantation bleeding with my third pregnacy it only lasted for a day and it was a light watery pink looking discharge. It stopped nearly as suddenly as it started.
Anyway it goes I wish you both the very best. Post here again if congratulations are in order.

If your girlfriend's periods are normally regular, stress could have a pretty big influence on her horomones and cause a delay in her period, but from all the things that you are describing, it sounds like she very well may be pregnant. I did the same thing when I was pregnant with my first daughter. I had the pinkish "period" like day and then went to the dr. becuase I was sick with Bronchitis and she tested to make sure I wasn't pregnant before perscribing medications and sure enough I was pregnant. Best Bet is to go to the store, buy a pregnancy test and see what the results are. Better to know early so she can take care of her body and the unborn baby. Take the test and make your moves from there.

Go to the drugstore and get a two-pack of pregnancy tests. It's entirely POSSIBLE that your girlfriend is pregnant, and the sooner you both know, the sooner you can make some important decisions. Read the instructions carefully, and if you get a negative result wait to see if she gets a full period. If not, take the second test in the package. I recommend the brand EPT, which can detect pregnancy at its earliest stages. If you're mature enough to be having sex, going to the store and buying a little test shouldn't be that difficult!

What your describing does sound like the beginning of pregnancy for many people as well as PMS. The best thing you could do is buy a home pregnancy test, around 6 bucks. If it comes out negative and she still doesn't get her period in 2 - 3 days, test again. Stress can delay periods as well.

a test is your best option - the urine one needs for a month or so to pass after the last period but a blood one can be done as early as 16-20 days, mainly coz the weeping and all comes later, the weight gain can start as early as the first 10 days but not 4 pounds... stress can really screw up a period so keep your fingers crossed

Tests are cheap and provide much more accurate results than any of us could give ya. If she is, she is...congratulations. If not, keep practicing, but use protection. She needs to see a doctor asap if she really thinks she is preg.

These could be a result of stress.
Take the test or go to a doctor to be sure.
Use a condom.
