I have three boys and all three were circumcised. I made sure of that before being discharged from the hospital. On my first two they just trimmed it off and and gave them back to me. Didn't seem to bother them to much. On my youngest they used a little plastic cap that fell off after about 8 or 9 days. Other than a little oozing from the cut,and some redness none experienced any type problems whatsoever. Pros, many. Cons, None I can think of.

in jewish and muslim religions, circumcisson is mandatory, part of th religious practice, if you are a hindu, may be then why should you? it is believed that because of the removal of the skin on the penis, in the later years, when sexually active, a man get much more sexual pleasure. it is also believed that it helps to keep the penis cleaner. some times, whether hindu or not, if the whole of the penis is too small, making it difficult to pass the urine, dr.s advise circumcission, and parents have to comply, but it has to be done at a very young age only.

No, it is not a necessary procedure anymore. The only reason some parents still do is because the father is circumsiced. But it has to stop somewhere. If you don't have to put your little guy through the pain then don't. the only other reason people say they need to is to keep it clean. But you don't even need to do anything different until they are older and can clean it themselves.

no, the pros are it looks neater, and is easier for you to wash him. the cons are that one out of every 30,000 babies dies during the proceedure, One out of 2,000 gets an infection in the site and it hurts him needlessly for asethetics purposes. Sometimes the circumcision is done incorrectly(since it is usually done by new students) and can actually cause discomfort when he gets an erection.
Its really up to you, but maybe you should ask your ob/gyno doctor to let you see one being done before you decide. I know, when my grand children were born, the doctors who delivered them refused to do it and the hospital charged upwards of $100 to have it done by other doctors.

having it done
PRO'S
It looks neater
Its easier to clean
CON'S
It hurts
It's not medically necessary
Dr. Might make a mistake during the process
NOT having it done
PRO'S
NO unnecessary procedures
NO pain
CON'S
Have to teach him how to clean it properly.
YOU have to clean it properly

Why put your baby threw something that will cause him pain. If GOD had wanted men to have for skin free penis', he wouldn't have put it there.

Yes Both my boys had it done.

I was there when it was done.

First son, 12 yrs ago, had his CUT off all at once.

Second son, 7 yrs ago, had the Plastibell procedure. The plastic ring falls off in 5-7 days after.

Both my boys cried when they had their CLOTHES taken off. NOT during the actual circumcision!!!

Over the last several years, the general thinking has been not to circumcise, those that have not been circumcised, say there is more feeling, than than those that have been circumcised.

So i figure, as long as there is no valid medical reason to circumcise, don`t.

Its much cleaner...I had my son done, and there are a lot less problems for him. My cousin had it done for medical reasons. There is no pain whatsoever for the child at all. I can't imagine trying to teach a small boy how to pull the foreskin back on his penis to clean it.
