Get an S-video cable and plug it in and then into the DVD player. or the TV if it's s-video capable.

Without S-video on the notebook, try looking for RCA jacks.

Other than that you would need to get a projection system and all the paraphernalia.

If the unit has Svid or composite output, the easiest thing to do is find the matching input on your TV set. If your TV doesn't have such inputs, the next easiest thing to do is look for these inputs on your VCR, and sett he VCRto monitor those inputs
If no such output exists on your laptop, then you need a VGA to TV conversion kit. Grandtech for instance makes a wireless one for under $200, and AVer (a leader in this technology) has the AVerkey iMicro (about $100).
